Fiat expands the list of discounted models

The new Turbo 200 Fastback costs R$ 119,990 and will sell for R$ 115,990

Fiat’s most expensive automobile model and first brand’s SUV Coupé has a new entry version with a R$ 119.990 suggested price. With this cost, it is included in the Federal Government incentive package with discounts from R$ 2 thousand to R$ 8 thousand for models up to R$ 120 thousand.

The new version is at Fiat dealerships costing R$ 115,990. Therefore, the brand expands the model range benefitted by the more affordable cars program from six to seven, comprehending now 22 versions of subcompacts, hatches, sedans, SUVs, pick-ups and vans.

“One of our most important launches in the last few years, the Fastback is the model that shows Fiat’s current face, especially regarding brand’s value and our products’ perception”, says Herlander Zola, Fiat and Abarth South America’s senior vice-president.

The executive acknowledges that the Turbo 200 AT offer is strategic when the sector takes advantage of incentives to offer more affordable models to the Brazilian consumer:

“With this model, we can expand even more our space in the compact SUV segment and democratize access to a car with a level of design, performance, safety and technology sawn only in premium segments. All this will contribute to the brand to keep advancing in Brazil and, of course, to consolidate our market share even more”.

The Fastback has a 200 Fastback turbo engine with 130 cv (ethanol) and 125 cv (gasoline), and 200 Nm of torque. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 9.4 seconds and “is the fastest in the category with a 1.0 turbo engine”.

According to Fiat, the new version also impresses for the consumption, up to 14.6 km/l on the highway. The model has a 7-speed automatic transmission.

The features list includes an 8,4” multimedia central, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connection, electronic parking brake, cruise controls, digital air-conditioned, rear parking sensor, rearview camera, LED headlights and rear lights, 17” light alloy wheels, four airbags, Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control Plus.
