The Iveco Group gathered its suppliers in Belo Horizonte, MG, to honor and recognize the companies with the best performance last year for the manufacturer. They were evaluated in six categories – Customer Service, Commercial Relationship (Direct and Indirect Materials), Technology and Innovation, Quality and ESG.

Six companies from Brazil and Argentina were recognized, and Fras-le got the maximum acknowledgment for the higher classification in all categories. The Randoncorp company also stood out for developing new supports for the Iveco S-Way rear fender in composite material to replace steel. The solution enabled to reduce the chassis weight by 40 kg.

“The honored companies showed that when we work with resilience, efficiency and anchored by sustainability – the characteristics that sustain our cooperation relationship with our supplier chai – we become more capable of facing the challenges and moving along stronger”, said in a note George Ferreira, Iveco Group’s Purchases director for Latin America.

At the event, Marcio Querichelli, Iveco Latin America’s president, emphasized the brand’s trajectory, which registered a 13% market share last June, the largest in a single month in the country.

“Iveco has many strengths and keeps growing. Even amidst the market turbulence, we are still confident. It is important to build now the bridge that will take us to the future, and our suppliers are key to keeping our gears moving at maximum power.”
