With a R$ 24 million investment – R$ 22 million directed to industrial automation and internal process improvements, Librelato inaugurated a new industrial facility in Içara, SC, to optimize the brand’s road implements final assembly. The space is located aside from the company’s headquarters with an 11,390 square meter constructed area.

“Until now, the final assembly was done in two plants. Now the whole process will be optimized, with the products in this phase going to a single place able to receive up to 90 implements daily. Six hundred new direct jobs will be generated in 2023, with 140 immediate hirings. This will be very positive for the company, bringing more productivity and quality to the operation”, explained José Carlos Sprícigo, Librelato’s CEO.

With the new plant, Librelato now has four units, three in Içara and one in Criciúma, also in Santa Catarina. According to the company, the new space characteristics minimize environmental impacts, following the main ESG and 4.0 Industry practices.

Amidst the novelties implemented, the company mentions the Domus Linealight natural lighting system, using translucid polycarbonate tiles and a rainwater reuse system with 40 thousand liters daily capacity. With this system, the plant will not use the external water network.
