Polo deliveries kept accelerating in June. The Volkswagen hatch finished last month as Brazil’s bestseller, with more than 9.9 thousand units delivered.
This is Polo’s best monthly result in 2023, confirming VW’s strategy correctness with the creation of the Track at the beginning of the year as the brand’s line most affordable product.
From January through June, 37.2 thousand units of the Polo were negotiated, an amazing%1,850% jump from the two thousand deliveries in last year’s first half.
The Polo finished the first six months of 2022 in a modest 47th place in the passenger cars ranking and is now second. In the total market, it is now third, behind the Chevrolet Onix, with 44.1 thousand deliveries, and the Strada, with 50.4 thousand units.
Fiat compact pickup, the sales leader in the last two years, kept firm toward the third victory, with second place in sales in June. The nine thousand units sold in the month were enough to overcome Onix’s 8.3 thousand units licensed.
