All this process began in April when was published the Provisory Measure nº 1.112/2022 approved in August by the National Congress. The law nº 14.440/2022, from September, officialized the program that will benefit owners of trucks, road implements, buses, microbuses, vans and cargo vans willing to replace their old vehicles with newer ones.
According to Anfavea, it shall help especially autonomous drivers, who own the oldest vehicles. The objective is to improve road safety and reduce emissions in the environment.
